I currently work for the government of a capital city. I have been a lead procurement analyst (2yrs) and a sr. financial analyst (1yr). I am now an executive director seeking transition back into the private sector. Previous private sector experience is in marketing analysis / program management (18 mos). I have a BA in Economics, MS in MIS, and MBA. Job boards aren't working, school career centers aren't helping much, and my personal network is exhausted. I'm looking for an analytical role in finance, procurement, supply chain, IT, or marketing. If you can help me, please leave your email, what company you work for, and how you are willing to help. No scams or MLM responses please.

I get 1 couple thousand and more a day emails…..Because I tried my hand at trying to make a buck on the internet.Well it didnt work for me,it just wasted many hours of time.My question? They say pyramid schemes are illegal? But do you ever really pay attention to all these so called great programs?
They all seem to be based on pyramid schemes, even though
they are toned down a bit. What do you think?

and why working a job till no end and only to retire broke or near broke is socially acceptiable?
Jobs ***** people every day. Ya know any company can be legit or a scam. As a business model why is mlm so offensive. there are honest businesses that utilize mlm and you have a shot at financial freedom. At a job you only have a shot at a paycheck.
Also, something interesting. If a young person wants to retire they will need over a millian dollars saved and invested to draw from in retirement to even maintain the life style they have now. How is a job supposed to even get you near that goal?

I thank you for the responses. I am not actually looking to enter an MLM, nor do I wish to. I was just curious about people's responses to that market. There seems to be a wide range of feelings on the subject, and I thank you all for the responses.

I just joined a brand new MLM company. http://nuvitae.com/warren
I know I am in the right position because I am number 12 in the entire company and there are as of 4/13/08 less than 40 people in the entire company.
My main question is…. we just started the pre-enrollment phase of the company….. does anyone know a great way to generate leads? This product really speaks for its self and has no competition but, I am just trying to figure out a great way to market it.
Any ideas or suggestions would be very much appreciated!
Warren
